The Bodines

Ralph E Bodine was born in Phoenix, Arizona and lived in the United States of America until 1992. During that time he graduated from Princeton University with a bachelor's degree in economics (1966), and played a leadership role in many of the largest fruit growers' organizations of the United States. Bodine served as Chairman of Western Growers Association, the Fruit Growers Supply Company, and Sunkist Growers, Inc. and in 1990 was appointed Chair of the President's Council on Rural America, by President Bush.

In 1992 Ralph and his wife Linda immigrated to Canada and were active members of the Saanich Peninsula. Ralph was a member of the Royal B.C. Museum's board of directors, involved in the University of Victoria Foundation and was committed to the boards of a number of new start-up companies.
