The Winspear Cup
The Winspear Cup Pro-Am Charity Event brings together professional golfers and amateur players for a day of exciting golf. The tournament is held at Glen Meadows Golf & Country Club on July 17th, 2012; shot-gun start at 1:30 p.m.
The driving force behind the tournament is the Winspear family. They have supported the event since the 1970’s. This year, organizers of the event have joined with the Mary Winspear Community Cultural Centre to support arts and cultural activities on the Peninsula.
Sponsorship funds raised by the tournament will ensure that the Centre remains the ‘Heart of our community". The provision of arts and cultural events, programs and services is critical to our residents and our youth.
As we look forward to another year, we ask you for your generous support. This year we offer four levels of participation:
Green sponsorship: $250
- Advertising signage on the green
- Dinner for one representative
- Tee sponsorship: $500
- Advertising signage at the tee
- A round of golf with a Pro
- Dinner for one representative
- Amazing prizes
Tee and green combined: $700
- Advertising signage at the tee and on the green
- A round of golf with a Pro
- Dinner for one representative
- Amazing prizes
Dinner Sponsor: $1000
- Advertising signage in the dining room
- A round of golf with a Pro
- Dinner for one representative

The Winspear Cup Pro-Am Charity Event
As well, any signage you wish to be present on that hole/tee or at dinner (if you are a dinner sponsor) is very welcome.
The tournament this year will see players divided into teams of four. They will be complimented with one professional golfer. If you would like to have a team mate accompany you, the cost for additional players is $100 per person for a round of 18 holes and dinner, a guest for dinner is only $50.
